New Comics & Vegas Zine Fest
I made some fresh new zines to sell and trade at the Las Vegas Comics & Zine Fest
I’m still buzzing from tabling at Las Vegas Comics and Zine Fest last weekend. So cool to meet so many friendly new faces and get inspired by everyone's work.
This event is exactly why I got into making zines (and post less on social media): it's a way more fun and meaningful way to put my work out there, connecting with kind/creative/lovely people I never would have met otherwise.
There were too many talented folks to mention, but here’s a small sampling:
Gina Parham did a great job organizing the fest, and makes some delightful personal comic zines herself
I can’t get enough of Montaysia Yuneek’s vibrant illustrations
I shared a table with Daily Cloud Comics, who makes adorable cartoons that are a true ray of sunshine
nothing feeds my grimy indie soul more than these zines from Garbage
Great cartoons and illustrations from ohmeqa
I loved the mini-zines from Wormy Apple Press, aka Dustin Rivera
The risograph work of Print Mojo
Picked up a top notch zine about UFO sightings from Avantpop Books
My new Comic and Zine:

I also made some hot new zines to bring to the fest to sell and trade:
Helluva Sandwich is a short and trippy comic about a skeleton restauranteur. I’m really happy with how this one turned out (I shared a time lapse of drawing the first page last month).
Random Word Drawings is a collection of my favorite illustrations from a year-long project I did a while back, where every day I got a new prompt from a random word generator.
As always, hit me up if you’d like a copy, or you can be a patron of the cartoony arts by ordering through my Gumroad shop:
That’s all for now. You are great!
